I got a bill at $496 for my first visit with PCP just because I haven't reached my deductible and my insurance made my doctor bill this amount of money. this is crazy!

I’m begging y’all people, do not get involved with pilgrim insurance. I asked my insurance agent to link me up with an insurance company that also allows me to do uber but he forgot and linked me up with pilgrim so I had to cancel because they don’t cover uber. So everything was canceled on Monday June 23rd of 2025 and they told me my refund should be mailed between 7 to 10 business days and today is Monday July 7th I still haven’t received anything yet. Started a policy with them at the end of May. 2 weeks into June if that, I’m receiving a cancellation notice due to a Outstanding $200 balance from another insurance company. Nobody informed me that that could potentially change things before I paid my money and they think that they are going to have me pay on a policy that’s going to cancel days later absolutely not so it’s either they give me a refund or I’ll be seeing them in court.
