Fresh air and fun! Pike Place Market is such a cool place to find fish.. different meats and produce. They also have smaller specialty shops within the market for coffee and artsy items.
Pike Place Market I just love the Pike Place Market. It has the most amazing fresh fish, and the fruits and vegetables are unbelievable. They are so beautiful and fresh not to mention the cheap prices. The flowers are just as beautiful too. It is a must stop destination. Just experiencing all of the different shops is spectacular.
A Seattle Landmark and for good reason. Haven't been? YOU HAVE TO GO! If you're reading this and have never been to the market, I have to ask you "Why?". This is quintessetial Seattle, from the fish to the produce to the buskers singing outside. Stall after stall of food, crafts, art and t-shirts awaits you. I must have been there a millin times and I still haven't seen everything. If you have friends in town, take them here for a fun couple of hours. Watch the guys throw fish, have a latte at the FIRST STARBUCKS, eat little... read more
Pike's Place Pike's Place is awesome. I head down there quite a bit just to stroll through and see what I can get that day. There is always fresh produce and the flowers are beautiful and inexpensive, I pick up a bouquet every time I am there for my house. There is also a lot of other things you can get there from vendors, you never know what you'll find! If you have company form out of town Pike's Place is a good place to take them!
Diverse vibrant and a bit touristy Pike Place Market is famous and quite a busy tourist destination. If you can handle the crowds (or just go during the weekdays) it is well worth it. When the weather is warm the fresh flowers abound! Flowers are probably the best del at the market. And then there is the fresh fish and produce. There are also lots of restaurants and opportunities to dine on the waterfront. For a quick bite-savory or sweet I recommend Piroshky Piroshky!
Good place to visit for tourists and Washingtonians Pike Place has a variety of shops, restaurants and bargains if you know where to look. The flowers whether dry or not are always a bargain. There are also restaurants that have been spread by word of mouth that need to be visited such as the Pink Door, the restaurant where Sleepless in Seattle was filmed or the Le Panier bakery. Every year they have the Cheese Festival in the springtime with a huge variety of over 100 or so cheeses. I usually go to Pike Place for the flower... read more
A seattle landmark worth a visit If you are a local or a tourist this is the place for all things Seattle. I like going here for all the fresh food and great shopping. It also makes a great spot for people watching. The top level has of course the world class fish market but I like downstairs because it has some great shops. Comics, smoke shop etc etc.
great place for fresh produce. The pike place Market has been open for nearly a century. It is a favorite for both tourists and locals. It offers fresh produce from local farmers as well as an assortment of of odd shops and decent restaurants.
Best Market every..... Hands down...if you are ever in the Seattle area, you have to visit Pike Place Market. I wish I did live close by that I can go here often. Everything is so much cheaper than a regular grocery store. Of course you have to stop by and Fish Market side and watch the fish get thrown around like a football. lol. I buy crab there, fresh fruits and vegetables. I even love buying bouquet of flowers in the market. This is a must see place and I would recommend everyone to stop by there.
