The menu at Pig and Khao is tribute to its owner/chef, Leah Cohen's Asian heritage. Serving a brilliant range of Vietnamese, Filipino, and Thai fusion cuisine, the restaurant doesn't waste much time on displaying authentic, hard-to-pronounce traditional names. Thick with crispy, spicy meats of a great variety, everything that comes out of this here kitchen is delectable to say the least. Drop in if you're hankering for a great Asian meal.

The sizzling plate was not hot enough to cook the egg on top of it. The sisig was salty and it was a little bit burned. There isn't enough crunch to it as what sisig should be. The malaysian butter prawn was salty too. It is pricey for it's serving. The only thing that was great were the staff. They were very hospitable.
There on a Friday night, place was busy and loud. Servers were quite friendly. Love their take on pork adobo, the salads and the noodle. The pork ribs were so tasty could have use less sauce. Did not care for the codfish. The halo-halo was not overly sweet, simplified with just a few ingredients. All in all was a good meal.
Not for kids, and tons of rap music, but very good food though!!! Great for adults, and for the New York Experience!!!
