The food is excellent. The restaurant is extremely tiny. They need to relocate to a larger location in order to cut down on the long lines and long wait times. The service is mediocre.

Business response:

I'm delighted to hear our menu has always been a hit for you, Jenny! Sorry the size of our place isn't as ideal for you, but we love where we are, and we hope you'll come back to hang out over some more great food soon! - Amy B., Owner

Worst breakfast ever cold food are you kidding me?

Business response:

I'm so sorry your breakfast wasn't piping hot, Dustin. That's definitely on us if it was a meal that was supposed to be served warm, and I want you to know that we would have gladly remade your food had we known about this in the moment. That said, I'd like to follow up with the team on this if you don't mind. Could you let me know when you came in? - Amy B., Owner

I Went there for the chicken & waffles and, was very disappointed. The chicken was dry nor was it seasoned, and the waffles were very dry. The orange juice was refreshing!

Business response:

I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy our chicken and waffles, Kimmion. That's usually one of our most popular dishes, so I wish we had had a chance to fix it for you while you were here. Still, it's good to know our freshly squeezed OJ was a hit, and I really hope you'll come give us another shot sometime! - Amy B., Owner

The fist time we ate here my fiance and I loved the food and we said we would be coming back again. Today 01-02-17 I decided to surprise her with lunch and picked up an order to go and brought it to her. While eating the pork belly BLT she happened to notice a small white object sticking out of the side of the sandwich. Upon removing the item and looking at it we found it to be the end of the finger of a latex glove or small condom. Quite a disgusting thing to find in one's food. Don't believe I will be eating there again. H... read more

Business response:

Jeff, I saw Bobbi's review and left a response there, but I just want to express again how incredibly sorry I am that this happened. As I mentioned to her, we've never had this kind of issue before, and I'm going to do everything I can to ensure we never do again. - Amy B., Owner

I found a fingertip from a latex glove in my sandwich. At least hopefully it was from a glove. Could have been a small condom! Definitely will not be eating here again.

Business response:

Bobbi, I want to sincerely apologize for this mistake on our end. While this is clearly not a condom, it is the tip of a glove that should absolutely not have ended up in your meal, and I'm incredibly concerned that we let this happen. We take every precaution when it comes to preparing your food -- as you can tell from the fact that our chefs wear gloves -- and we've never seen anything like this here before. I want you to know I'm going to look into this right away so we can figure out how it happened and how to prevent it... read more
