I stopped to help an elderly man with his car on a 95° + day. Ultimately, the man asked me to call a wrecker service, so I just chose this one to call because it was close by. The man who answered asked if the gentleman I was helping was black, and I did a double take but said yes because he was. The wrecker service refused to come help, assuming that this black elderly man didn't have any money. What do I even say to the elderly man at this point?
