I have now had two interactions with this doctor and very different ones to be exact. One for treating my husband then one to treat me. He seems to take as much time as you need and assessing you quietly and politely while you talk. He is quirky and funny which is such a disarming feeling. With that said, he spent quite some time with my husband got him exactly what he needed to make a swift recovery from his acute back injury pain. Wow!!! As soon as I saw Dr. Pesavento I cried. This was such a long time ago but I think Dr. Pesavento might remember my story. It was in 1987/88(?). I was rushed to Broadway Methodist Southlake Hospital with an incision from a abdominal hysterectomy had split completely open (done by my original doctor's partner due to my doctor being admitted to ER the nigh before my hysterectomy so not a doctor I knew but if he was my doctor's partner I trusted him plus young and dumb at 25). Pinnacle Hospital Urgent Care. Dr. is brilliant with colon issues. The next time he wants to admit me overnight for an I.V. antibiotic drip, I'm going to do it. He is absolutely correct in saying the drip is much better than 5-7 days on Levaquin. Not that Levaquin is no good. I'm so fortunate that's he's at Pinnacle Urgent Care. It's closest to the home for these flare ups of a colon issue. I know I have to have a C-T scan and it's right there.
1st visit: Thought he actually really cared about my health. 2nd visit: boy was I WRONG about the first visit assumption. REALLY DISAPPOINTED & let down.
