I love the food and atmosphere.. I have recommended it to family and friends and they all say the same thing.
My wife and I were there the other day with her parents for dinner with her dads Vietnam veterans unit for dinner we had a very nice waitress named Carrie the food was great along with the service if we are ever back in Corpus Christi we will definitely be eating at Pier 99 again.
The view is great, the food nottttt so much, we ordered the calimari as an appetizer the circles were good the tentacles were extremely chewy and not very palatable I ordered the whole snapper it was fair but nothing to be over excited with, I did enjoy the fried shrimp, my friend had the gumbo and was very unpleased with the taste it is definitely not a traditional gumbo, my other friend had the fried fish and shrimp plate and he thought it was fairly bland and lacked flavor.
