We've had the pleasure of shopping at several locations of Pier 1 in Washington state and Oregon with good buys and good customer service, unlike the experience we had at the Mill Creek store. The manager at the Mill Creek branch was rude, loud, unfriendly with overall poor customer relations. We found a great floor model stools with different prices and suggested we understand stores matches price and are willing to pay the lower price for both stools instead of different prices. I recently found a kitchen set at the Key West Pier 1 that was on sale. The next day, when I went back to purchase it, they would not honor the sale price, in spite of the fact the sale stickers were still on the table and chairs. That happened on Jan. 15 and I have yet to get an explanation as to why they would not honor the sale. I have never in my life seen such blatant false advertising and disregard for items that are on sale.
I have been to this place countless times and the people are friendly and extremely helpful. If you need new decor this is worth a look at.
I took my 91 year old Grandmother into the Pier 1 on Bridgport Hill on the 6th of November to shop. She is legally blind and sees very little but "shopping" is something she loves to do. The Manager told her that "they didn't have time to help her" which up until this week was not a problem for the previous Manager. I have called the Regional Manager & she insists the problem is being dealt with but how do you make some one who cares so little about the elderly start caring! Pier 1 is a very different kind of store they offer the most unique nice items I have ever seen. I love pier 1 they have everything you need to make your home the cozy place you love retro, elegant, classy they have it all. Including insence to make it smell delicious!~ Pier ones prices are great and they offer alot of deals. I would suggest everyone shop and browse the large selection at pier 1.
