I was in need of propane because the prices were up and thought I could wait it out,... boy was I wrong. My tank was on empty , stopped in at the Athens location and purchased my propane from John. John provided me with some customer service that was second to none!!! I will start this review by noting that I have used AmeriGas since 2004 for my home. I requested a propane tank to heat my hog barn and was charged over $200 for someone to come out and inspect prior to service and install installation. Since then, I have made no less than a dozen phone calls in the attempt to have service, and through this journey, I have come to the realization that the majority of phone calls are routed to Kenya (AmeriGas is not supporting American workers, but outsourcing and paying a pittance for servi... read more
My friend in Crooked Creek Baptist Church put me on to Piedmont Propane when he quit using Ferrell Gas. He knew I had had a really hard time getting gas from Ferrell Gas. I called Piedmont Propane, and they did a tank check and filled my tank. Rodney really went "the second mile" for me and came inside and cleaned my wall heater and showed me how to use it too! They are super nice people. THEY REALLY DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL DO - a rare quality in today's world!!!!
Everyone at Piedmont goes above and beyond expectations in their service. We've been working with them 10+ years at our poultry farms and wouldn't dream of doing business without them!
