Rude staff the doc is arrogant and crappie to long time patients
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS DOCTOR! HE IS A GOOD PERSON TO CONVERSATE WITH, BUT HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CHILD CARE. MY DAUGHTER WENT TO HIMF ROM BIRTH AND WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS 10 MONTHS OLD SHE WAS DEATHLY SICK WASNT PEEING FOR DAYS, HE KEPT TELLING ME TO TAKE HER TO MINOR CARE WHICH IS THE HOSPITAL. SO I SWITCHED HER DOCTOR AND COME TO FIND OUT SHE HAD RSV, UPPER RESPORITORY INFECTION, AND A TOUCH OF PNEUMONIA. SHE HAD TO BE HOSPITALIZED, AND HE NEVER OFFERED TO SEE HER. I cant believe what Amy N is saying about Dr. Syed. He is knowledgeable, attentive, great with his patients, and never (I mean, never) hesitated in seeing my daugther no matter what the issue. Any illnesses were caught in time, any referrals that were needed, my daughter got them (and to great specialists). My family has been blessed, and our child hasnt had many illnesses; but I couldnt ask for a better physician for my child. And yes, he has been my daughters physician since she came into this world.
Dr. Asad Syed is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had to visit! My son is 13 and started seeing Dr. Syed at the age of 1 week. My son was born at Greenville Memorial and had issues from day 1 with his formula and constipation. The doctors in Greenville basically told me to keep trying to give him the formula and basically use a thermometer to help stimulate his bowels. They doctors are great. They really care and dont hesitate to send you to a specialist if its beyond their expertise. They are nice to the kids and always remember them. They are also good about listening to what the parents think. However im in the process of trying to change to another pediatrician because of the wait time EVERYTIME we go there! You can expect to be there at least 2.5 to 3 hours every time you go no matter what!!! With 3 small kids thats very stressful! My other big complaint is they dont have a different ... read more
My daughter has been going to Dr. Syeds office since she was a new born (8 1/2 yrs now). They both are such good doctors, that they are also now my sons doctors for over 3 yrs. now. My son got sent home from daycare with supposinglly pink eye monday. I called to see if I could be fit in. I was told "We are too busy right now with flu cases, that we are not taking walk ins". We saw Dr. Asad Syed early on and loved him. However, his wife (also a doctor in the practice) was HORRIBLE! We entertained our 2 month old son in the office for over an hour. Finally, when she came in to examine him, he was fussy. She asked if we could get our son to be quiet so she could hear his lungs. When I asked about how much milk my son should be drinking, so I could pump at work, she told me that it didnt much matter because my milk would be drying up soon anyway. This dr is AWESOME! My daughter is still young and is still warming up to him but i know as she gets older she will love him! I recommend him to everyone. His staff is also great, they are always sweet and understanding to our needs.
MY SON IS 3 YRS OLD AND HE LOVES DR. ASAD SYED. HE IS SO PERSONABLE AND LOVES CHILDREN. HE HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY AND IS A GREAT DR. THAT CARES ABOUT HIS LITTLE PATIENTS.
