I didn’t feel like the Dr cared about me. Especially with how he gave me my diagnosis; quick, careless, nonchalant, and he was half in and half out and he yelled it so people can hear!!! I felt so embarrassed because I’ve never had that diagnosis ever in my life.. he treated me like a joke ..Interacted for 5secs…within 8hrs. This experience was a lot better than previous experiences. In the past I could hear the staff discussing how much they hate their jobs. Totally different experience this time.
INHUMANE. If I could give zero stars I would. My 77 y/o mother was referred to Piedmont Atlanta ER from a neighborhood Piedmont urgent care for an irregular heart beat identified via an EKG. We have been waiting to be seen/placed in a room for 12 hours. At 7:30am we were advised that the new wait time would be an additional 36 hours. Need to better work on check in process for subspecialty hospital visits. Even if you are coming for an appointment you have to wait in the general line as they get verified for you to just go to your appointment. Resulting in you having to come significantly early as the line to get in typically is backed up.
