I chose Short North Piece of Cake primarily based upon reviews. I had not tasted their cake previously. I communicated with them through email - they made it easy. I sent pics of ideas and the invite for the party. We discussed options, ideas and prices. Only one phone call was needed to pay and arrange pickup. They were so creative and exceeded my expectations with the design. It was delicious!! I’m thrilled I chose Short North Piece of Cake for my event!

Short North Piece of Cake recently designed and baked the wedding cake (and groom's cake) for our October wedding, and we were so happy with the results! The cake was decorated gorgeous and was everything I had pictured in my mind that it would be. It was also delicious. We ordered cupcakes for our dress rehearsal dinner that were the same flavors as our wedding cake because we were so in love after our tasting appointments. Short North Piece of Cake made my cake dreams come to life! I wanted a elephant cake with a bride and groom topper and they custom made it beautifully! Not to mention the cake was delicious - they were so easy to work with and I’m looking forward to ordering from them again for future events!
I ‘be gone there since they first opened. It’s my treat for going to OSU doc appts. I mostly go for muffins although I can make them myself. Great selection, nice workers. My all time fav! Sometimes I get muffins, small pies, and other treats to share with co-workers. Try a lemon muffin! I’m a walking bakery advertisement for Piece of Cake! 😀
Amazing ! Awesome ! Crazy Talented crew! I had a custom cake made for Ronni Hunter of 99.7 The Blitz and to say it was amazing is just not enough. From the details and artistry to the taste was 2nd to NONE! Not only where jaws dropping in amazement of this work of ART, but they dropped right again when people tasted it. Delicious. You guys are awesome. !!!!
