I stopped by and purchased two dozen Christmas cookies today. They were $11 per dozen. The young person who helped me rang me up and said it would be $22. I didn't catch her name, but she was in her early 20's and wearing a Ramones T-shirt. I handed her $25, and about 10 seconds later, she said she made a mistake and pressed the "dine in" button instead of the "carry out" button. This caused sales tax to be charged to my order. I was so glad that I had kept a snap shot of a post on one of the OSU Parent FB sites of a cake made by Short North Piece of Cake! I want to say thank you again for helping me celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday today! Thank you for making a special delivery to her dorm! She sent me a pic of the cake and all I have to say is WOW! It looked amazing! And she said it tasted so good! Again, much appreciation being sent your way! You guys are fantastic! Highly recommended!!
I am completely upset with the birthday cake that they charged me $90 for. I could have gone to Kroger or Giant Eagle for half the price. I will not show this cake to any of my guests. The owner could have cared less if I was unhappy or embarrassed about this cake. The worst experience I have ever had. It looks like they copied their decorating skills from Costco.

Short North Piece of cake absolutely nailed my wedding cake! My husband and I were so impressed with how organized they were and how delicious the cake was. They asked detailed questions at the cake trial and were very flexible with us. They knew exactly what design we were thinking right from the start and had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire just to ensure that they knew the game plan. THANK YOU for our wedding cake this past Monday! I am a wedding photographer myself - so that means I get to try A LOT of cake lol! In all of the 160 weddings I have shot, our cake was the BEST tasting out of all of them. Thank you for being so incredibly easy to work with especially with us being from 2 hours away, during a pandemic at that! We will definitely stop in next time we come to Columbus! 🤍🤍🤍

We used Short North Piece of Cake for our wedding and it was so perfect! They were fantastic throughout the whole process, even when we had to change our wedding date at the last minute due to COVID. The cake looked STUNNING and was just what we asked for. They were punctual and safe on our wedding day. If you want your dream cake, that will taste GREAT and with excellent service, pick here!
