Dr Picket spoke to us before performing an ablation on our 88 year old family member answering questions and letting us know how long the procedure would take and what to expect afterward. He called afterwards letting us know it was successful and the patient was doing well. We’d had concerns the advanced age of the patient would cause them to have to remain hospitalized overnight but everything went very smoothly and we were able to discharge home that afternoon.
I saw Dr Pickett for my A-Fib episodes. He mentioned speaking with my cardiologist and together decided I was a good candidate for heart ablation surgery. Dr Pickett explained the procedure he was going to perform along with a diagram showing the areas that need attention. We discussed surgical risks as well as recovery time. Dr Pickett was very thorough and made me feel at ease with everything. I would highly recommend him to anyone with the same type issues.
I never have to wait even when I’m early. Love the staff! Everyone is so accommodating and nice, especially Chad, the PA.
Has been my Dr for over 12 yrs. Complete faith in his abilities and medical recommendations. I think he takes time to know his patients. Always up or part of latest procedures and techniques.
The hospital staff care was outstanding; the medical including dr. Pickett, came by prior to the procedure to information about roles and what would be happening as well as answer any questions; the visits provide reassurance to the patients
The professionalism of the staff. My interaction with the doctor who met for the first time was comfortable, a bit short.
Went well, just a little fast for us old folks. Dr. and staff were professional and very informative about procedures to be performed on Feb. 5 2025.
Took me 3 months to get report of my visit. The only thing correct on the report was my name and DOB. Wrong on everything! I do not have a mechanical valve, nor a pacemaker, nor an implanted defibrillator, and never had! I wrote to this doctor explaining my issues with this report and never heard back in a month, as I requested. I will file a complaint with the TN Medical Board and my insurance company. My GP was shocked, as was I. I thought he had been attentive. I guessed wrong.
I had afib after having had atrial flutter. Dr Pickett performed a catheter ablation 2 years ago that has been life saving. My checkup yesterday showed a normal heart beat on the ekg and I am able to exercise and enjoy life. Thanks Dr Pickett, Chad and all of the staff that works there.
