We cottage near Sprucedale, ontario. The provincial internet project is being installed in the area. During work at the entrance to our cottage the Spring revealed our driveway was torn up to the point that we couldn’t enter due to the depth of the mud. With one phone call, Matt had a crew there within a day to assess it, and restoration was done the next day. They went above and beyond our expectations. I couldn’t ask for better service. Friendly, professional and fast.
Pickard Construction assured us they’d only need 4 feet of the land on our front yard for Bell Fibre install (town owned land that close to the road, that’s fine) and assured us they would: A) not come up further than the 4 ft required B) our botanical gardens that we use for business purposes will not be compromised C) restore the lawn/landscape to its original state pre-construction Not a single word on their behalf was kept. Dug up our front lawn for Bell fibre I asked if they would be fixing to the way it looks now which was new sod. They said yes and assured me they would make it right. Came back when the snow was gone and put sand all over the holes and made a mess of my new lawn. I called them and spoke to front desk said she would have someone call me. Waited a week nobody called I sent in an email and sent photos again no response so we ended hiring a crew and relaid sod to fix it ourselves. Guys tore up my driveway, didn't clean it replace anything. Didn't even ask my permission. Cut my wifi line, then they laughed saud its not their problem, no wifi for weeks. Absolute worst company I've ever seen.
