Unprofessional and Disrespectful Front Desk Experience I visited Physicians' Primary Care of SWFL (13195 Metro Pkwy #8, Fort Myers) with my elderly parents to check if my father’s medical records had arrived from another provider. From the moment we walked in, one of the receptionists (white woman, dark hair, glasses, tattoos) treated us with extreme rudeness and hostility. Had appt with ARNP Stacey. I was in a lot of pain over a 10 had been to hospital night before. To somewhat subside my pain I was pacing back and forth in the room as I had driven an hour in the rain from work. She started asking questions, then abruptly stated “are you mad at me” “did I do something wrong to you”. I told her NO and explained my pain level. I had an appointment here this morning. I was actually scared because of all the bad reviews. I was truly expecting to be "blown off" and just have a complete bad experience, but I DIDN'T! I saw Stacey Wright. She took time with me, listened to me, and got me referred out to a specialist for further testing. The young ladies at the front desk were just a sweet as they can be. I'm so sorry that so many people had a bad experience. Like I said, I was prepared for the worst, but got really good treatment.
I originally had Dr. Shrestha who went MIA…now I have Dr. Villaflor who decided not to show up today! I rearranged my tight schedule for this appointment!!! Unacceptable! I will be finding another doctor immediately! I will be calling Physicians primary care with my frustrations and concerns!
Since when is meaningful, comprehensive patient care completed in a 4 min appointment?!?! My last in person visit (that I took a 1/2 day off of work for) was a whopping 4 minutes long. I opted for a telehealth for my appointment today. I was called by a nurse and asked if I was free several hours prior to my scheduled appointment time. I was, so I agreed to move up my "visit".
