Most amazing hospital! I wouldn't want my loved one anywhere else. The staff go above and beyond to make the patients and their family as comfortable as possible!
The staff on 5B are all terrific. But, the ED needs a serious overhaul. I went with chest pain, short of breath and nausea. We literally sat in a very crowded waiting room for 7 hours before being seen by a doctor who decided I should make an appt to see my primary. I came from Alex Bay to here because st Joe's is supposed to be the best for cardiac care. The only way to be seen by the right doctors is to go to a small ED and be transferred by ambulance as a direct admit to get immediate cardiac care.

Absolutely love this hospital. My husband has been there for 2 outpatient surgeries and an 8 day hospital stay and I cannot say enough good things about the staff there. They were so pationate and caring. The hospital was so clean. Thank you St. Joseph's.
Need to get their heads out there you know what and figure out whats wrong with my Mother. This I dont know where the fever is coming from dont Cut it . In my Book. Your a Hospital. And Your Doctors? Aren't you suppose to find whats causing people to get sick and not just treat what you think it is and send them home , just so they come back every two weeks . Now for two months with same problem.
