I have been with physicians imaging for awhile now, let us say ten years for sure. The name then changed to Elite imaging. It was,shortly changed to Akumin. This is the quick deal. you call a scheduling center in northern Florida who wants to make an appointment at their leisure. The last time I was there I waited for three hours. It seems they were. I, personally, had a terrific experience! I was scheduled for an MRI on my right knee, and was in and out of there in no time. The staff were polite, the waiting room was comfy, and I even got to store my stuff in a locker during the procedure. No complaints here!
Why would you come here and be treated poorly when you can go to Memorial Hospital South on Washington St. and you can get your bone density done here and mammograms done with such professionalism. I thought this was the only place for "bone density" x-rays but not the case. Barbara Crosta
