disappointed I agree with "factory-like" service". I am glad expectant mothers think they are great, but wait, when your past your childbearing years, they are cold and treat you like your wasting their time.

Dr LaMonica I moved from NY to the Danbury area, and needed to find a GYN/OBG. Dr LaMonica came highly recommended from several nurses. He gave me outstanding prenatal care. It was a pregnancy complicated by bleeding at various times throughout the nine months. He always retuned my calls and patiently answered my questions. Imminent questions were returned immediately, others later in the day. It takes a special MD to stay late in the evening to phone his patients. Factory-like service, too busy for personal service I had my first child with Physicians for Women and am now pregnant with my second. While my doctor, Dr. Gilotti, is wonderful, unfortunately, the office itself is so busy there are long hold times to speak to anyone, as a working mom appointments in the morning, evening or weekends are very difficult to get, nurses take all day to return a call regarding a simple question and you cannot speak to a doctor regarding a problem unless your problem is deemed an emergency. Nice place for women health care. I moved to Danbury.. when I was 7 mnts pregnant. This group practise was willing to take me as a patient without any hassle and my doctor is really friendly and very nice, Takes time to answer my quries. On call doctor is available is there is any emergency.
