Unfair Emergency Billing with Threats My son got hurt at school 5/21/08 while we were boarding plane to Bahamas. The school called and said he need stitches what hospital. I picked this hosp because I used to be a RN for 10 years here. My son 12, had no ins card with him. So upon return to Dallas, I called my PPO blue cross and blue shield. The hosp ER service ride was $1842 and $193 for ct scan.
