I worked with Marivel Vargas in the Patient Advocacy Dept. to help with my bill. She explained what I had incorrectly fill out when I submitted paperwork and what my next steps. She helped get my bill settled within 1 day!! She was so helpful and pleasant to work with. If there were more people like Marivel, more people would look for help in paying hospital expenses. Margp
My daughter had surgery after a year long of ear infections. We are so grateful for the doctors and the entire team. Unfortunately around that same time we had very rare financial impact on our life. My father in law, who had low income, received a large medical bill (over $900). Due to his disability and retirement, he needed help paying. When I called the billing department, they sent me a financial aid application form. The process of filling it out and sending it to the Department of Patient Advocacy was easy. Thank you so much to Marivel Vargas of the Department of Patient Advocacy for helping my father in law during difficult times! We are so grateful for how he communicated with us and helped us.
One day I was o.k, all of a sudden an excruciating pain in my stomach took me over ER and afterwards surgery for an hernia. The pain was unbeareable! As soon as, Physicians Anesthesia Services, started to take care of me and took care of my pain while I got all fixed, it was a blessing!
