RecommendedJust graduated from physical therapy for my left TKR (Total Knee Replacement). Special thanks to Brad Hirko, DPT, for pushing me forward, keeping me motivated and getting me fully operational. Toni for getting me scheduled and working me in when there were cancelations, Tatum and the entire staff at Phoenix Physical Therapy. Their work getting me fully functioning after my right TKR sixteen months ago and through my recent left TKR was nothing short of spectacular.
Tatum and her staff at Phoenix are our family's go to for any and all rehab!! This group of physical therapists are not only extremely smart, caring and knowledgeable, but they also know they are working with student athletes that want to get back to playing and folks that just want to feel better and get to back enjoying life as soon as possible. I went there 3 times back in August 2018. Got a bill for a co-pay difference back in August and paid it. Just go another one for 2 more co-pay differences. Called office and asked why it took so long to be billed and all I got was I did not work there then. She said that State insurance takes forever to pay and that’s probably why. My insurance payed them in April! Tell me why it’s taken your office 7 additional months to bill me? Post 16 weeks from a pec tear, I was having pain / tightness that felt like a constant charlie horse. I was skeptical of the effectiveness of dry needling but after ONE session... I felt release of the fascia / muscle tightness. Want to give Dr. Kelly Ivey a huge shout out for dry needling / Phoenix Physical Therapy And Sports Performance. If you are considering this procedure, know it does not hurt and you will feel better. Looking forward to the next session.
They changed my life. I have learned to climb stairs. Get into my suv and drive without pain. I can now go up and down 30 steps where before I could not do three steps. My shoulders are strengthened and I can function with ease even with a complete tair in my rotary cuff. The team has been a blessing for me. Their spirit of encouragement and help is exuberant.
