******DO NOT SEE Amparo Macariola!!!!!!!! I have been coming here for years to see Dr Foltz and had been really happy. This time I had to see the PA Amparo and she was not a nice person. I waited 40minutes for my appointment, the office appeared empty, the staff was playing loud hard rock music and laughing, and someone was placing a pizza order. Outstanding customer service. I spoke with one of the representatives at Phoenix Neurology & Sleep Medicine, and she was incredibly helpful. I could tell she had a lot going on, but she never rushed me, cut me off, or made me feel like she was trying to end the call. She listened carefully, answered every question, and seemed genuinely concerned about my needs. I truly appreciated her patience, professionalism, and kindness.
The visit was as expected with some scans ordered. Unfortunately I discovered when the providers contacted me for scheduling they ignored my request of which providers to use for these and selected their own. One of those was far across town and the other has incompetent scheduling agents (read 'foreign' here) and kept messing up. I am not entirely sure how this place stays in business other than the fact that they accept Medicaid. The ongoing incompetence and medical negligence that they call patient care is mind-blowing. Potentially Medicaid isn't aware though so I will be gathering all the documentation today to present and file a formal complaint so the state can stop wasting their money paying for a medical facility who is not concerned about their patients receiving adequate care.
