We had a wonderful appointment on the 2nd floor today, and afterward we stopped by the cafeteria for something to eat. Unfortunately, our experience at the register really soured the visit. The cashier was warm and friendly to the mom and child in front of us, even going out of her way to engage with them. But when it was our turn, her attitude completely changed. Brought my daughter there because she was struggling with her mental health saying that she was going to kill herself and that she had a plan on how she was going to do it and instead of keeping her they discharged her and decided to call CPS on me. How do you discharge a child that clearly tells you that she is suicidal? I stayed up all night watching her because what if she would have followed through with what she told you while everyone was sleeping?!
