Pho tasted only of cinnamon, probably the worst bowl I’ve ever had. Egg rolls still a little frozen on inside.
I eat here exactly once a week. When the pho is good, it is fantastic. Among the best I've had. When it's bad, it's very flat. I'm not sure what's missing? Maybe 1/4 of the time it's bad, 1/4 of the time it's excellent. 1/2 the time it's pretty good. Bottom line is the pho is quite inconsistent. I would happily change my review to 5 stars if this could be addressed.
This place is without a doubt the absolute worst vietnamese food place I have ever had. I expected low quality vietnamese food in the US, but this place really exceeded expectation. Instant pho is 10 times better than this place. Everything about the food is bad. The noodle was not fresh, the veggies and spices were all wrong, the broth was basically salty water, the meat was the wrong cut and low quality. The only reason this place have 4 stars is people in the US have absolutely no taste buds.
The meat in the banh mi and rice plate was so dry and tough.
