I've been to pho 8 about once a week for a long time. I was throughly disappointed today. Since they have changed the restaurant setup, the food quality is not the same. I placed a call in order today and was given a time. It was 30 minutes later then I was told. The sandwich, which is on crisp bread, was unusually hard. The sandwich was cold and no dressing.
I'm revising my review as a result of the menu changes and item changes. The Pho bowls are now being served with subpar noodles in much smaller amounts than before without any price drops. $7 for a Campbell's can-sized amount of Pho tonight with different noodles than the last few years and non-fresh bean sprouts is disappointing to say the least. We are sorry to hear about this Austin. As for the noodles, we now offer two types of noodles for the pho because people were wanting the wider more traditional noodles. You can still ask for Vermicelli noodles with your pho. Next time if there is any issue just let our staff know and they will be happy to help you. Again, we are sorry that you had a sub-par experience.
When I first moved to the MidWest, I was so nervous that there wouldn't be a nice, authentic Vietnamese restaurant for me. I love pho and love Vietnamese food- so you can see why this is a problem. But Pho 8 lives up to its name! I could eat 8 bowls of their pho and never grow tired of it lol. Amazing place, amazing atmosphere, and such friendly staff every time my husband and I come in. We are big fans of Pho 8 and will continue to be until we die. P.S. Their spring rolls are always so fresh and hit the spot every time!
I liked, son loves goes often, hubbub not a fan..different strokes for different folks. I had the chicken noodle bowl...loved it..
