Philz consistently has great coffee, and this truck is no different, but like the other reviews state the customer service here sucks. Not sure if it’s the same lady that the others were talking about, but incredibly unfriendly and borderline rude.
I have been using this place as my goto coffee place and croissant anytime we visit the city for years. The location is perfect - easy and near the Marina parking lot. Today, for some unknown reason the almond croissant was not at its best; the owner Greg was kind to give me a new one with no questioned asked. Yes - this place will always be our goto place for a quick coffee and bite. This review is long due
Ok so, I liked the flavor profiles to help you make a decision with the coffee. And the ambrosia was pretty good. But the pastry, was stale and just not good. I ate maybe half cause I was hungry. Going to throw the rest in the garbage. Cause that’s where it belongs. Go for coffee. Not the pastries.
I love Phillz, but not this location. The lady working today was not friendly and gave horrible customer service. My tea was decent. I left feeling frustrated and won’t go back.
I always have to get a Philz Mint Mojito coffee when visiting California (sometimes more than one!) and the one from the food truck location did not disappoint! Was slightly confusing on the flow of how to order and pay for the coffee but otherwise, was a great experience!
