It was my sister's and I first time at Philz Coffee! My coworkers recommended it to me and I wanted to try it. Shout-out to Susie for being so helpful and kind! I told her it was our first time and asked her recommendations and she gave me a whole variety! Once our drinks were ready, another lovely employee asked us to tasted it and if we like it, she can make it sweeter if we like. Definitely love that! Will be coming back in the near future! The coffee isn't great. It was my first time at a Philz in years. I specifically ordered light and bright, because I remember the last time I went to a Philz the coffee was bold. The light and bright coffee is still too bold and sour for my taste. I want to like Philz, but I simply have to accept that I don't like it or maybe I need to order something with flavored cream? Both times I've been to Philz I ordered black coffee with brown sugar only.
Good coffee
Who knew drip coffee could be so good? Lots of options, whether you like sugary drinks or straight up roasty black coffee. My favourite is philtered soul cold brew, and they have a great-tasting decaf. One of my favorite coffee shops. Their breakfast burritos are pretty good, and the right size (smallish but not tiny) for a meal for me.
