I usually come here & pair the coffee with a bagel from Layla bagels. I was at this location today, and I was waiting for my coffee. It took a bit longer than the expected time, and the girl who made my drink (I didn’t catch her name) was just SO sweet. She offered to upgrade my coffee to a bigger size just because I had been waiting (even though it was just a few min wait). I go to Philz literally almost every day, but this service was immaculate. Thank you for making my day!
My wife and I love the drinks here. Marta is always so friendly and willing to strike up a conversation. The outdoor seating is perfectly shaded and has outlets to get some work done.
I adore this place. The coffee is next level and the options of coffee with vastly unique tastes is beyond most establishments, let alone franchises. If you like a variety of coffee and tired of the same drink everyday this is your place! The staff is hard working, positive, available, and celebrated by Phillz. Wish they had more places outside of LA!
I'll leave my original review below. A friend requested that we meet Philz Coffee. I was delighted to find. A much cleaner, better feeling atmosphere. Thank you. Used to go there to sit and relax. Always clean. Always friendly. They took down their pride flags. The last couple of times I was there, where the flags were hung, looked as if somebody tried and didn't know how to remove Command-type temporary hooks. The last couple of times I was there, where the flags were hung it looks like somebody tried and didn't know how to remove Command-type temporary hooks. The front of the bench near the counter where you order was peeling off. The trash was overflowing. Not welcoming or comfortable for the people they used to invite.
