The kid that took our order threw on some gloves and got to work. Whipped up 3 delicious sandwiches in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend this place.
*Amazing food, sports-oriented atmosphere, friendly staff & large portions. The food took a bit longer that we thought, but that's no issue, it was well worth the wait. The restaurant was quite busy, though the majority of the customers were phone orders for pick-up. 1 thing that could use some love is the drink fountain: many of the drinks were "out of service" & at least a couple more probably should've been labeled the same way - the drinks were watery with little to no flavor. What a great place to eat the cheesesteaks are legit you won't find a better one and the employees are so kind and attentive 10/10 would recommend to anybody in orangeburg
I visited Philly Special on Friday with some coworkers, and I have to say—the Philly cheesesteaks and French fries were phenomenal. The customer service was also excellent, especially for a locally owned business. I really enjoy supporting local spots, so we came back again on Tuesday to try their specials and wings, and once again, the food did not disappoint. My husband and I stopped in today. We were visiting Edisto Gardens and looked for a place to have lunch afterward. We saw the menu for Philly Special online and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. When you first walk in, you might not be impressed with the aesthetics, but don’t leave. The young men there are so nice, and the food was amazing!
