Top notch doctor who is through and great with my son. She left no stone unturned and did a great job teaching the medical student while she was at it. Highly, highly recommended.
Reading the other reviews I had to check to make sure I had the right Dr. our experience has been completely different that anyone has stated. Dr. Phillips has seen our daughter 3 times for type 1 diabetes. She’s incredibly thorough and patient with us. She answers every question we have, talks to our daughter directly and makes sure she understands how to care for herself which we feel is important for the situation. Wait time is very long! She always seems in a hurry. Dont feel comfortable asking her questions.
Avoid ! We had to wait for 1:h 45min after being checked in. When she finally showed up, she was rather rude , made me feel uncomfortable She has a confrontational demeanor. The whole visit was under 4 min.
We brought our 12 year old daughter to be seen by Dr. Phillips. She told our daughter she was, "obese," asked her what she ate daily and offered, "If I ate that I would be fat too." In addition to being ignorant regarding eating disorders and fat shaming, her shirt was inside out, her hair a mess and she presented as frazzled and disorganized. I was shocked, frankly, to have encountered her at Children's Hospital. I would not under any circumstances have her see my child. AVOID
