Went to Phillips-Inner Harbor on The Charm'tastic Mile for an early dinner and ordered 2 of the $19.95 Surf & Turf Specials (petite filet & lobster tail). The food was very. The Josh Cellars Cabernet for about $30.00 was a real nice bottle for the price. The Cream of Crab Soup was creamy and smooth with flavor. A great dinner with tip for a about $110.00 dollars. I would recommend this dinner special and give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
I would never tell my best friend or any friend in that manner to ever come to this restaurant. This was the worse experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I was with a table 9. Out of all these 9 people, one (3) people had their meals prepared correctly. These were the 3 children we had with us. One child ordered crab legs. One other child ordered chicken fingers and fries. The last one ordered fried shrimp and fries. They had no real complaints. The adult orders were all messed up. I ordered a ribeye steak medium well, it... read more
unacceptable It was our first time in this restaurant though we have heard of the good reputation. We ordered steamed mojito clams as appetizer. One of the clams was closed and when we opened it it was full of mud! Even worse was the attitude of the manager, who came to tell us it could have happened in any seafood restaurant and was not a big deal! They did not charge us for the clams but the low health standard and the poor apology of the manager were unacceptable. I do not recommend Phillips to anyone!
okay if you're a visitor Phillips is the visitor's stop for crabs or crabcakes. Overall the food is fine..a bit pricey, but it's right in the inner harbor. location location location
Tres Magnifique! Wonderful seating, courteous service, relaxing ambiance, and delicious seafood. I visit the east coast quite regularly, and this is one of my favorite haunts. Modestly price intimate dinners without paying a king's ransom. I'll definitely be back!
DO NOT EAT HERE - HORRIBLE RESTAURENT A Truely horrible experience.
Phillips Phillips Seafood Restaurant in Harborplace is a tourist favorite, but the food is not as good as many other local restaurants. I do not approve that they buy crabmeat from Taiwan and try to pawn it off as authentic local Maryland crabmeat. If you are going to check it out, make sure you go on their website and you can get a free spinach and crab dip.
Good prices Good prices and quailty seafood. Do not eat at there all you can buffet not as good as the menu food. Very fast service and clean as well. We have gone several times and will always be repeat customers.
Best seafood This restaurant is well known for their prime seafood. This restaurant is upscale and well worth the price. The seafood is fresh and deliciously prepared. This is a great place to go for a celebration such as an anniversary or birthday. Be sure to call ahead for a reservation, though, as they are usually booked up.
