Checking in was a smooth process. We got on board and the staff was informative and friendly. I was able to substitute the fish for a gluten free option which was delicious suggested by one of the staff. They talked all about the glaciers, wild life, islands. We got to sample real glacier ice in our drinks. The staff offered to take our photos for us and took some holiday photos for us close to the end. We had an incredible time yesterday, could not have asked for a better day weather wise. Got a rare chance to see some Orcas in addition to the otters, seals, eagles, sea loins and even a shy black bear. The ship was comfortable and the ride was very smooth, Range Brent was a wealth of knowledge, able to answer everything we could think of on top of his already thorough narration about the Chugach national forest. Highly recommend for anyone who gets a chance to come to Alaska
A fantastic ship, so stable and a smooth ride. The ship gets really close to the glaciers and we saw lots of wild life.
