Dr. Muchsavage performed a partial nephrectomy on me to remove a substantial growth on one of my kidneys. Prior to the surgery, he explained what the issue was, what the appropriate treatment was (surgery in this case), and what to expect during recovery. Excellent surgeon! Highly recommend.
Dr Mucksavage is a highly skilled urologist and it shows in the Surgical procedures that he performs. I’ve had two procedures performed by him. The first one I’ve had done numerous times by other urologists; and it has always left me in significant pain. The entire team was nothing short of phenomenal, with Dr. Mucksavage leading the way. Excellent surgeon who answered all questions patiently, providing empathetic and informed responses to any concerns raised. Highly recommend him and his team to anyone seeking care and guidance when confronted by prostate cancer.
Saw him a few years ago when local urologists couldn't accomplish what needed to be done. He was courteous, professional and got the job done.
Absolutely a disgrace, the Dr.and his staff forget about the patient after surgery, not only was a simple operation botched,but the aftercare from his nurse practioners were unprofessional with no empathy or support. The office doesn't communicate with their patients and quoting Dr.Mucksavage the secretary is a .merry go round, unable to answer questions or making appointments and no follow-up from his team, do yourself a favor and seek treatment from another physician, Penn Medicine has been a nightmare, a simple surgery in... read more
