After a recent move I started going to Kemp Dental. At my first cleaning they mentioned I had 3 cavities, which was a shock considering I have not had a cavity in over ten years and regularly saw another dentist who said my teeth looked great. Not only did the staff here make me feel like my teeth were in awful shape based off their odd rating system but stated I required a lot of help. Dr. Kemp provides EXCELLENT service!! Because I want to keep my teeth totally clean from any tarter build-up, I visit Kemp Dental every six months. I've also needed three crowns. So my need for SUPERIOR dental care has been ongoing, and Dr. Kemp -- along with his top-notch staff -- has consistently provided it. The atmosphere is friendly, professional, and relational. Don't take your teeth anywhere else!
My family and I have seen dr Kemp for about 6 years. We've lived many places and have had several dentists. Dr. Kemp is not high pressure and does a great job taking care of our dental needs. He's conservative in treatment and respects our wishes (and any dental fears). His hygentists are very well trained and go above and beyond the cleaning. We have been going to Dr Kemp’s practice for the last several years. My husband and I have been very pleased. Everyone is so professional and organized and the dental care is exceptional. We both have had a lot of dental care over the years. This is our “go-to “ dentist now and we highly recommend him.
So, so. Used high sales pressure on me to get a crown. When I hesitated, he brought in 2 of his hygienists who also pushed for me to agree to get a crown. I refused bc he and his staff couldn't explain how getting an expensive crown was necessary for my gum disease. Rather than explain, they all just ganged up on me and kept insisting that I "had to" do it. Went to another DDS and they said a crown was 100% unnecessary and 100% unrelated to my gum disease. I was referred to Dr. Kemp for a deep cleaning and have never returned. I appreciate the way I had an complete evaluation and a complete plan of care for the months to come. Love the clean and positive environment. There is a sweet spirit throughout the office with doctors and all the staff. Very blessed since the first day I was referred to Dr. Kemp and will always share his name and number with family and friends!
