We brought our dog in about a week ago with some concerns about spots on his udnerside. From the moment we walked in to see if they had walk in appointments available, which they did, every member of the team treated us and our Bo with the greatest concern. I have been coming to this vet for at least 4 years and every visit they treat their patients and customers with the highest respect and personal service. My experience after buying a Wellness Plan has been horrible. Today, I called to schedule a recheck for a chronic ear infection for my dog and was told that the next appointment would be two weeks away. I would not want to have my own personal care or my animal's care managed in this way. Had I known, I never would have purchased a plan from them. Banfield will sell a plan on the spot, but they apparently can't provide timely medical care once you purchase it on a regular basis. Is there a limit to the number of plans sold b... read more
Went into Banfield to get our dog's teeth cleaned. A couple thousand dollars later, the dog's teeth still are not cleaned. This doctor "T" claimed that our dog needed to be on several different drugs after a plethera of tests and convinced my wife that the dog would die without the drugs. After two years of multiple expensive meds, we finally stopped the insanity. It has now been over a year since we stopped druging our dog.
