What I need to know is, is the doctor a good doctor. How does he perform procedures? Does he know what he’s doing? Does he explain everything well?Does he take his time and perform procedures with kindness and intelligence?Some of these reviews that I read are mainly about the office. It is hard to put into words my positive experience with Dr. Totonelly, but I will do my best. First, I appreciated his easy-going personality and the time he took to answer all my questions, often anticipating what I would ask. His truthful and forward-thinking approach to health care was refreshing. I was fortunate enough to find him; I only wish that he were also a primary care physician. They will juice your insurance and refuse to send operative reports to any new cardiac providers. The Office manager is rude and doesn't know how to bill correctly. I have more problems with the veins on both legs after the procedure. Horrible pain.
If your in need of medical care. Dr. Totonelly is where you need to go. He spends time with you providing a total exam , delving into all aspects of your issues . His staff is always friendly , knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Totonelly explains what if any medical condition you are experiencing, and begins on a course cause treatment to best address your problem . He does so without subscribing unnecessary medication.
I went for endovenous ablation and ended up experiencing vasovagal syncope on the table. Dr. Totonelly acted rapidly, efficiently and caringly. Got my heart rate and BP back to normal in a few minutes. Staff was wonderful - held my hand as he worked to bring me back to homeostasis!
Dr Totonelly and his staff was very friendly and courteous. They were very accommodating to my schedule as I am very busy. I was happy with my visit and would recommend them to friends and colleagues.
Dr. Totonelly performed an ablation procedure on my left leg that did not need to be done. My leg looks worse than it did prior to the procedure. My leg is now painful and numb in some areas. I went for a consult with another doctor who said I only needed schlerotherapy to clear up my spider veins (which was not offered to me by Dr. Totonelly) and that this doctor did nothing for me but make my leg worse. I do not recommend going to this doctor.

Your leg has significant reflux and dilatation which meets recommended criteria for ablation. You received Varithena which "IS" sclerotherapy. Please educate yourself appropriately. Moreover we don't know where your misinformation comes from but we would suggest you see another professional such as myself who does this on a regular basis. I guarantee your spider "WILL" return. March 15th I went to see Dr Philip Totonelly the cardiologist for the first time as a new patient it was very disturbing during these presidential times the way that office operates in Fishkill New York The, he does not wear masks or gloves while touching you. I saw all the reviews and thought he was a good cardiologist. To my surprise when I entered the reception area the employees weren’t wearing any masks. The reception area was not set up to social distance. The girl that was doing the echocardiogram on me was wearing a mask. Now I have to tell you I am a cancer patient and have diabetes so in these times I am very careful. I understand you are angry about your diagnosis. I am sorry. Everyone in office is tested and negative. You are not allowed in if you have a temperature or even history of positivity. Latest study from Netherlands shows no usefulness in over 6000 patients tested. Your account of what the Doctor said is completely inaccurate. God bless we wish you the best of luck.
