I was evaluated and treated by Dr. Niswander for bilateral cataracts. His staff ( Grace, Angela, Kim, Sandy and Sherri to name a few) was welcoming, competent, professional and patient-focused. Angela, the surgery scheduler was flexible and attentive to my needs. Dr. Niswander was thorough in his explanations and open to my questions. The surgery was successful and for the first time since ninth grade I am not wearing glasses.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Niswander to family and friends. Very satisfied with cataract surgery results. Good vision with multi focal lense implants.

I have been a patient of Dr. Niswander's for 30 years. I'm now 54 years old and had significant vision impairment from droopy eye lids. Dr. Niswander performed an evaluation and scheduled me for blepharoplasty. I am absolutely thrilled! He did a great job...you can't even tell I had eye lid surgery at this point.
I have been a patient of Dr. Niswander for many years. Recently I had both cataracts removed at the Amherst Ambulatory Center. Dr. Niswander is also treating me for a Macular Pucker condition in one eye. My mother was a patient for many years, my husband and sons. He is kind, patient and takes time to explain any questions or concerns. Sincere thanks to his Staff at Niswander Eye Center and Amherst Ambulatory Center, they are all a caring and compassionate team.
