Very disappointed in Dr Moyer. Really trusted him to fix my colon problem and he did. BUT he left me with an incisional hernia. I reported it twice to him, both times he said it would sort itself out with ab exercises and didn’t seem to care. By the time it was the size of a grapefruit, I got a second and third opinion: it’s a hernia, it needs surgery to fix it, no question. Dr Moyer WONT be my choice to fix it.
Had an emergency apendectomy from an ER visit, with Dr. Moyer. Continued to have significant pain for a couple weeks after surgery. Repeatedly called Dr. Moyer, as he continued to dismiss my concerns. Finally, he said, 'If you are having THAT much pain, go to the ER.' I did. Was immediately admitted for a huge hematoma in my abdomen, requiring followup surgery.
Dr Moyer was amazing. My hernia was so bad and I feel so much better. Sue was also wonderful i was so nervous and she held my had while Dr Moyer explained everything to me.
Takes the time to explain things and really cares for his patients.
Courteous, good communicator, excellent Surgeon.
Absolutely ridiculous. Sue, the secretary, scheduled my appointment for the wrong day and time. I took 3 hours off from work to go to my appointment, only to discover Sue's error. Rather than apologizing about it, Kim the manager said she'd call the doctor to see if he could fit me in, but wasn't sure how long I'd be waiting because he had an emergency surgery at the hospital and wasn't even there. But instead of allowing me to wait, the doctor informed didn't want to be my DR. because of this.
dr moyer was very kind. i have been a smoker for years and he explained to me sometimes smokers have a harder time healing. i am very greatful for dr moyer, he gave me the push to stop smoking. i stopped smoking three weeks before my surgery, my surgery went great. i have never felt better. thank you!
Dr. Moyer is a caring and most able professional who provides excellent surgical medical care. His determination and skills were well needed in a colon resection he performed July 2015, and, we feel, saved my life. My recent hernia surgery, of course, was ably handled by this great man and top surgeon. Thanks Dr. Moyer.
I am very thankful to Dr Moyer. I had to have my gallbladder removed he explained to me exactly what the procedure would be. I was in and out and back to work in a very short time. I've never felt better! thank you Dr Moyer
