Rudest Dr i have ever seen. Impatient ,argumentative ,rushed. There is a reason a guy with this much experience is taking walk-ins at Walmart. Just saying.
He and his staff are always prompt and courteous. Very clean. Takes time to explain things to you and what you need. Will always go to him as long as he's in business.
Have been going to Dr. Larabee for years and never had any issues. Always answers our questions and helped my husband when he first started to need glasses and my daughter into her first contacts, which she wears all the time now. Staff has always been friendly and his location is convenient for us as well.

He was extremely impatient and rude when teaching me how to put my contacts in. I don’t appreciate being talked down to. I will never go to his practice again.
Got me in same day after several weeks of worsening migraines that had drastically worsened over the weekend, was very attentive to what I was explaining to be causing issues and eye strain for me, and his correction of my prescription and observation to access my need for a specialized lens has been so significant in helping me and my migraine issues and meant FINALLY having some relief from that. Since my new glasses, I’ve not had a single migraine and it’s made such a positive impact.
This is my worst eye exam ever! I will never go back to this doctor again. While I was waiting in the waiting, he had an argument with one the patient. Bad sign already. The waiting was 45 minutes long. During my eye examination, Dr. Larrabee was rude and became agitated. Worse of all, I didn't know how bad the prescription that he gave me was until I got my eyeglasses and I got 2 pairs of eyeglasses!! The prescription he gave me can only see far. Excellent experience! For yrs I've had poor sight with my contacts that were prescribed by The Eye Institue on Cary and Dr Larrabee immediately knew how to improve the quality and clarity of my sight. He studied the contact movement on my eye and prescribed a contact with a different axis. Then he took time to show me how to insert them with the axis correctly aligned. The difference in my sight is unbelievable. Thank you, Dr Larrabee, for taking the time to listen and resolve this longstanding issue.
Helped me with getting a stuck contact lens out of my eye. Worked me in very quickly, was super nice and skilled.
