Phil's shop is doing the work no one else can or wants to do. I brought him my 2006 Honda Element to have the rockers rebuilt, after a lot of asking around body shops, welders and mechanics. He is a secret gem in the Hudson Valley! Super dedicated to doing the work right, reasonably and efficiently.
Phil & his team made my Jeep look new after they primed & painted my frame. Highly recommend!
My Toyota dealer told me that the rusted out frame on my 2008 Tacoma would not pass inspection and suggested that maybe, just maybe welding would correct the situation. The truck has only 70,000 miles on it and has been well maintained. I brought it to Mr. Ortiz and he and his team replaced the full chasis for a fair price. I had acquired an old lexus gx470 that sat for years and had a lot of rust and the backside was completely gone. I thought it was a lost cause but read the other reviews for this place and figured I would give it a try. Man was I impressed. Phil is amazing. He completely saved my Jeep and boyfriend’s truck. Both vehicles had a significant amount of rust and he completely took care of both vehicles with precision and care. My Jeep was basically scrap and he welded a whole new frame to the Jeep. It’s never been stronger. He’s a super down to earth guy and takes care of what he is working on as if it’s his own.
