I would never go to someone again who was not interested in helping with my problem I'd been having. I wasted a day for nothing seeing this so called doctor. I was talked to as if I were a child. The by far the worse I have experienced in my 65 years. Don't waste your time and money on this man.
His mantra is less medicine is the best medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Wiley. I highly recommend Animas Hospital ER. And I would like to recommend Dr. Mark Gaughan (dermatologist).
My experience was very similar to these "one star" reviews. Let's just say it was the worst doctor's office visit I have ever had, replete with the opening diatribe against masks and vaccines (!!). Dr. Wiley did not answer my questions or offer any useful medical advice, but rather quasi-mocked me by insinuating my symptoms were in my head and that if I keep coming back he might recommend me to a psychiatrist instead (seriously!). Began "exam" (did not examine; just talked!) with a bizarre diatribe against masks . Described perhaps a dozen approaches to addressing chief complaint - noting that none would probably help. Concluded by prescribing a medication which, true to prediction, did not help.
I agreed to schedule a procedure with Dr. Wiley. I live 2 hour from Durango, the office location. After hours of driving the doctor decided to ignore my diagnosis and our agreed actions to tell me to go elsewhere. He is arrogant and not interested in any evaluation that is not his own. Do not waste your time here also.
The worst experience I've had with a Doctor. Condescending, mocking, and very unhelpful. I would not have asked to be on a cancellation list if I didn't think I had a concern. But when addressing my concerns he smirked and said, you're old, but offered nothing. I'm in good shape, but he made me feel like I was just wasting my time. He seemed more concerned about getting to his sandwich then taking my questions. No signs requiring masks. Dr. Wiley nor his staff wear masks or gloves. Stay away. I drove 2 hours each way to my appointment. I was told I was scheduling a procedure but, this office wanted me not to fix my problem but use multiple pharmaceutical prescriptions to address it. I should have checked reviews before booking. Stay Away.
Dr. Wylie is... "okay" - much like that AT&T commercial (with the doctor). He seems capable-enough (as an ENT) - but, he is pretentious & condescending to his patients - and often, outright rude. See *another* ENT - if possible.
We went into his office with a little apprehension due to other reviews. However, we were please surprised. Very knowledgeable, clear explanation, and not to mention, he was funny. Great experience!
