I had a disappointing experience as a new patient. The doctor rushed through the entire visit, and I felt like I only saw him for about three minutes. He was unable to help me at all. It was evident that he was overbooked and didn’t have enough time to provide the care that patients needed. I will not be returning to this practice. It’s a shame that UPMC isn't offering better service, especially considering the cost of healthcare. I do not recommend this practice to anyone. My initial visit with Dr. Pollice was very positive. He had a personable bedside manner, exuded confidence and even complimented my engagement as a new patient, specifically my ability to ask good questions, my preparedness for collaboration with my other treatment providers and my willingness to follow his treatment recommendations. I don't usually write public review but i have to here. By far the worst physician I have ever seen. Bad bedside manners, absolutely rude, zero empathy to his patient and family. From the get go he seemed rushed. His style of patient interaction is suboptimal to say the least. He walked in chewing something and while attending us, took a phone call and walked out. (Wexford location) I went to see him with high hope, he came and saw me hardly for 3-4 min (he was in a rush, very unprofessional), I waited there for almost 45 min. I was not expecting Senior Doctors behavior like that (now I see similar complains by others here, I relied on UPMC website reviews which are not correct) , the moment he entered in the room he was not happy (no greetings) and told me I should go to same doctor who saw me first time in same group, but due to the problem still persist and not getting other doctor... read more
I wish I had read the Google reviews before my visit, as the UPMC reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. I felt dismissed when discussing my concerns, and the bedside manner was lacking. Patients deserve to feel heard and taken seriously, but that wasn’t my experience.
