Awful treatment of potential customer! Throroughly unsatisfactory. Note: I have not purchased anything from them; this is a comment based solely on speaking with a Philadelphia Runner employee on the phone. I purchased a groupon on 10/1/09 for Philadelphia Runner - $19 for $40 worth of goods. Sounded like a great opportunity to try out a store that is normally out of my price range, but I had heard that they had great selection and good advice. Sadly, I will never know. Helpful staff I had a very nice experience here. I was looking for a new brand of walking socks, and even though it was just shy of closing the sales person stayed late to help me through the decision. If I didn't already have another specialty store that I have been going to for years for sneakers, I would definitely go here.
Pr-Philadelphia Runner is helpful! They staff at Philadelphia Runner are very helpful. They will help to make sure you are purchasing the right shoe for your type of foot. It's pretty expensive but they only carry good quality stuff.
nice running store Philadelphia Runner is a great store for both the serious runner and the person who is just getting started. They carry a wide array of running shoes, apparel, and accessories. They have all the top brand names. They also offer gait analysis and will lead you to make the right decision on picking a running shoe appropriate for you. They also are associated with a group of runners and walkers and would be glad to tell you about that and get you involved.
Running supplies This is a very nice speciality store for runners. They carry a wide variety of running shoes and apparel. The staff is knowledgeable about the needs for runners and try to accomodate all the customers. They also a running club you can sign up for with weekly meetings. Overall a great store to visit.

I’m brand new to running (properly) so it was my first visit. Caroline was extremely patient and knowledgeable in helping me with my first official pair of running shoes. I enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to visiting again once I get better. Wish me luck!
