History Established in 2012. Erin Schmitt and Ellen Vincent opened Philadelphia Community Acupuncture, Mt. Airy in March 2012 as a second location (the first, now closed, opened in 2007 in West Philadelphia) to provide affordable acupuncture to NW Philadelphia.
