It was moderately busy in the ER, when I arrived. I went in after passing out while in a standing position and falling directly onto my chin on some tile flooring. I had a busted open chin and bottom lip and a mouthful of rearranged teeth. Despite the busyness, I was triaged appropriately and seen by the provider fairly rapidly. I feel the appropriate diagnostics were ordered and believe I was given the results verbally. Dr. Fursa is the absolute worst physician I have ever came in contact with. Since when don't you consult a urologist for a 9mm kidney stone?! We just tell the patient to go home, try and pass it and if you don't, come back to the ER?! This community deserves better care than what they are getting at this ER. The best thing Phelps can do is close this ER before they endanger more patients
One of the worst hospital experiences we’ve ever had. The facility was dirty, several staff members were unfriendly, and the overall environment lacked the compassion you expect when your family is dealing with a medical situation. It was also very disappointing that the doctor was so rude when he found out that our granddaughter had not been vaccinated. I came to the emergency room around 4:00 in the morning with severe abdominal and flank pain. From the time I arrived, I felt that I received excellent care. The ER was clean and professional, but never cold or impersonal. I received appropriate testing, including lab work and a CT scan, and because I was there during a shift change, I was seen by two ER physicians. Went here a couple days ago had a nurse named macey come in and while she was doing my iv she couldn't find my vein but instead of going out and going back in somewhere else she poked around where she was. Then blew my vein, after that she got a smaller needle ans got it in good, whenever I was leaving she took it out AND BLEW MY OTHER VEIN. This is freaking ridiculous ive NEVER been treated like that there. She wasnt even worried about me she just disappeared and sent a new nurse in.
