I stopped by for a general checkup. I was very underwhelmed by the quality of service. My height, reflexes, and abdomen were never checked/measured. Dr. Phelan was in the room for literally two minutes, during which he checked by mouth, ears, and breathing. In my non-medical opinion, this was a very unprofessional and shallow examination. Had I known this was going to be the case, I would never have scheduled an appointment with him.
I've been going to Dr Phelan for a few years now. He's honestly one of the best doctors I've seen. He doesn't lie to you or pump you full of drugs, he genuinely cares. He's helped me through some of the toughest parts of my life. I'd recommend him to any individual and even family. It doesn't end with him. Great family doctor. Does'nt waste time and see you quickly when you're sick. The doctor you want when you have young children with any health problem or are an adult with one.
This guy is a medicine dispenser. Doesn't make you aware of certain side effects nor does he take time to listen. He's in an out within 5 minutes. No good.
