Dr Phelan is always willing to listen and address my concerns. It is comforting to know that he is available 24 hours a day. I have been his patient for many years and he has helped me in so many ways. He truly is The Best!
As you age, you feel more vulnerable and more prone to illness. I appreciate the thorough testing and discussion of results and possible methods for relieving and avoiding issues. I always feel like a partner in my health care and never feel talked down to.
He tells you straight. No sugar coating it. Been our Doctor for 20+ years. Will be a sad day when he retires.

Dr Phelan takes his time with me, listens to my concerns, asks about health issues prominent in my age group, quells concerns I have by relating them to his own personal 'growing older' quirks and pains, and does not 'throw pills' at you unless he feels it absolutely essential. Puts you at ease and covers all the bases.
Dr Phelan has been my doctor for many years. He is always patient and listens to all my concerns. I would highly recommend him as a family doctor.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Waiting room time is short. If I call and need to be seen soon...seems to be no problem getting an appointment. I am very pleased with Dr. Phelan. He takes the time to listen and I like that he is straight forward about telling things like they are. Very knowledgeable and I feel that he really listens and looks for all possibilities for an answer. Finally felt like I was being heard. Glad to have found him.
Do NOT bother with a Doctor who refuses to see a patient over a bill for $60 dollars and leaved a diabetic without her prescriptions . THIS DOCTOR AND HIS STAFF ARE NO CREDIT TO THE MEDICAL PROFESSION. If you are elderly I suggest you go ANYWHERE else.
