Phat Matt and Miss Charlotte do not play. Those ribs are BOMB, and brisket is the best out there. Also they are sweet and delightful people. They are not just playing at "good hospitality". Rather, these two are soul-level joyful and loving, to literally every person that walks in. Even the guys who walk around cleaning up are very friendly and helpful.

Just pick a plate, it is all great and prepared with love. The sides, the sides, the sides! The Southern style Mac and Cheese.... get it!! You only live once! Indulge yourself! Smoked Maple Syrup thick sliced Candied Bacon. Santa, I've been good this year!! That's what I want.....and you can get it here! Nuff Said!!
If you find yourself in Oakland you have to stop by. Matt and Charlotte and the crew make you feel like a local and provide the best BBQ I've ever had. I see why he's won so many awards. Great BBQ Matt! We will see you every trip down here!
