Studies too long now people have lives and things to do when it was SNBL it was always a 3 day study available now everything is 3 weeks or more and the same study that eliminates you from doing another one for an extended period of time and the food sucks

Let me start by saying I live in Houston, TX and I understand this is voluntary. I signed up for a healthy volunteer study and was told I met the qualification. What I wasn't told was that I needed to be unhealthy and I needed high CRP levels. I was told they needed participants because the study got canceled because of a snow storm. So I felt very confident and took the drive from Houston to Baltimore. Again I know this is voluntary clinincal trial. I am a study participant at Pharmaron, and unfortunately my experience has declined significantly. The most serious issue is the food. On multiple occasions, there has been hair found in both meals and snacks, which is unacceptable. In addition, the food is often the same items served repeatedly in different combinations, with very little variety, and it is not very appetizing. It feels more like cafeteria or jail food than something suitable for a professional study environment. The living environment is also uncomfortable.... read more

overall the quality of the experience has declined significantly. One of the most concerning problems is the food. There have been multiple instances where hair was found in meals and snacks, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. In addition, meals lack variety and are frequently the same items presented in slightly different ways. The quality does not match what should be expected in a professional research environment. The living conditions are horrifying. I wonder how they differentiate from the side effects of the drugs they test and the deterioration of their test subjects caused by the internment camp crowding and low rations.
