I am a study participant at Pharmaron, and unfortunately my experience has declined significantly. The most serious issue is the food. On multiple occasions, there has been hair found in both meals and snacks, which is unacceptable. In addition, the food is often the same items served repeatedly in different combinations, with very little variety, and it is not very appetizing. The living conditions are horrifying. I wonder how they differentiate from the side effects of the drugs they test and the deterioration of their test subjects caused by the internment camp crowding and low rations.
Came in for the screening -super friendly and efficient staff!
UPDATE: They called me after I called them letting them know I couldn’t make my 2nd step screening appointment due to a delayed flight. They called me and emailed me inviting me to the group 4 of the study at a later date but I’d have to really spend 70 days in Maryland through the holidays so I re considered staying back in my town instead and just going back to Baltimore in 2026 to do a shorter study.
